“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.” - George Eliot
[I think this image indicates fairly clearly how much I love autumn. Colors seem brighter, the air smells crisp and fresh, and the landscape is ever changing.
However many hours later and a migraine to boot, here is an image I can say I am completely happy with. I really wanted to create something fantastical and lighthearted after the darker things I've been doing lately. Austin was a genius helping pin up this slip cover to me to create a dress. We had a lot of good laughs each time someone tried to drive by and he'd enthusiastically gesture for them to drive around me, standing there in more or less a bed sheet... It's days like these that remind me why I love art so much. I am so happy to have found such a new amazing friend.]
Autumn is my favourite season. Nature turns colourful and very photogenic, cold and sunny days ideal for walks arrive, apple pie arrives, and red-haired girls look the most beautiful.
Your red dress, beautifully and seamlessly multiplied on the ground, looks like some sort of a placenta of nature into which you are connected when autumn gives birth to new, colourful surroundings, and you. I've never thought of autumn as a season of rebirth (obviously spring is this season) —before seeing this.
