Description

If you find yourself in the humble embrace of nature, be it desertlands, woodlands, or on ocean shores, listen. Listen to the whispers on the breeze, the buzzing in the grasses, the wash of the tides. They will tell you how to find your way to the wishing tree. Bring with you a single candle, and under its boughs, sit with the calmness of the tree itself. When you find that you have harmonized your soul with the wishing tree, slowly, deliberately, make your wish. Should your wish be pure, the very leaves upon its branches will glow as embers of the stars in the sky, and your wish will be granted in due time.

Day #200

[Or so they say. So, perhaps a little on the cheesy side, but I had this image in my head for my birthday, and I really liked the idea of a magical tree that grants wishes. I'm happy I was able to upload this on my actual birthday, even though most of you will be seeing it the day after. Today was a day of reflection for me. My 365 has been a journey the likes I never imagined I'd take. When I took it on, some part of me knew that it would somehow be life changing. I can say now that being barely halfway through, this is one of the most monumental and exhilarating life choices I have ever made. I am exhausted, and I've accepted that I will continue to be for this entire project, but I wouldn't change it for anything.

Many thanks to ye wonderfule Austin for help out with this one!

Now, go find the wishing tree, and make your wish.]
